CALDERDALE College’s site at Todmorden is offering a wide range of courses aimed at people’s creative side, including art and design, ceramics, interactive media and photography.
Todmorden Community College is hosting an open day on Saturday, August 27, from 10.30am, when people will be able to find out more about these art courses. Alternatively contact the college on 01422 399316 or visit its website www.calderdale.ac.uk
There are also a range of new courses aimed specifically at 16-18 year olds starting next month. They give a general introduction to a range of skills including graphics, photography, textiles and multi-media.
The college has experienced tutors including art and design lecturer Hannah Honeywill, whose work is currently being exhibited in the final of the Threadneedle Prize, the UK’s most prominent competition for representational art and sculpture.
Full and part time creative courses range from introductory courses for those who want to try something new to honours degrees for those wanting to progress to something more advanced.
