A BOUTIQUE has pulled off a coup by linking up with a fashion range designed by one of television’s hottest reality show properties.
Star of ITV’s The Only Way Is Essex, Lauren Goodger has designed and is selling her own range of spring fashions with accessories including make-up and tan.
Apart from her own boutique in Essex, it has only otherwise been available to buy online via the New Look website - until now.
Halo, at Patmos, Burnley Road, Todmorden, is run by Louise Routledge and her daughter, Charlotte, were keen to stock the range as the boutique shares Lauren’s own ethos of selling beautifully designed clothes for ladies of all sizes, up to size 18.
A section on the Halo website on ladies’ “killer curves” helped secure the deal which has now brought the Lauren’s Way brand to Todmorden.
Louise said: “Lauren has launched her line of clothing aimed at the curvy lady. A lot of boutique lines stop at sizes 12 or 14, but these are the brands that everyone wants because they have been celebrity endorsed. To get a brand that does it is fabulous.”
Having heard of the brand, Louise and Charlotte - who also designes her own range of jewellery, Charlie Brown’s - did their homework, sourcing and building up a friendship with the manufacturers of the range.
“They were very impressed and said the shop sounds just what the brand is trying to promote, so apart from Lauren we are the only independent boutique to have it,” said Louise.
In hard economic times Louise says Halo is doing well, with Charlotte’s work on a new-look Halo website and promoting the boutique through fast-growing social media like Twitter and Facebook also attracting new customers from all areas.
Any ladies who want to take a closer look at the Lauren’s Way styles will be able to do so on Friday evening (March 2).
Head for Patmos where Halo will showcasing the range between 6pm and 9pm.
