Time for folk to face the music

The Hebden Bridge folk roots festival will be back again on May 15,16 and 17 with a variety of local and international acts.

Opening the festival on Friday, May 15, are The Last Chance Saloon Ceilidh at the Town Hall, Hope Street Baptist Chapel hosts a line up including Molly Tilston and BBC Folk favourites Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker while Manitoba Hal and Catfish Skillet perform at The Old Gate.

Shows continue around the town throughout the weekend, Hebden Folk Roots Americana at the Hope Street Baptist Chapel being one of the main attractions on Saturday.

On Sunday evening Tales of Two Counties will be bringing their bluegrass folk rock to the Town Hall after The Old Gate plays host to The Tastebuds from 2pm. A host of local performers will also be on show.
