The Lines Made by Walking workshops will help participants develop their own creative responses to the local landscape through writing, photography, film, drawing and other media. The first pair of workshops will take place on Friday, February 19 and Friday, February 26 between 11am and 12.15pm.

A spokesperson for the Festival said: "We are delighted to be working with Emma again this year.

"These gentle and inspiring workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore their relationship with the landscape in a supportive environment and at their own pace."

Todmorden Book Festival ran for the first time in November 2018. Online events from last year's programme are available to view at www.todmordenbookfestival.co.uk. This year's creative workshops were developed with support from the National Lottery Community Fund.
