Firefighters were called after a chip pan caught fire in Halifax.
Teams from Illingworth, Halifax and Odsal fire stations went to Clough Lane in Mixenden at 6.30pm yesterday.
A man suffered smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by fire service crews and then handed over into care of paramedics.
