Halifax attack by teenager leaves woman with broken arm

Police officers are appealing for witnesses to an attack that left a woman with a broken arm.

The West Yorkshire Police force has released details of the incident today.

At around 5.45pm on Monday November 23 a 43-year-old woman was assaulted near St Thomas’s Court, Illingworth Road.

The woman attended hospital with a broken arm.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5ft5, stocky build with long brown hair and aged between 14-16. She was believed to be wearing a grey zipped up hoodie at the time of the assault.

A teenager was arrested in relation to the offence and has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault or who was in the area at the time who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to get in touch.
