Man arrested in Halifax after police discover stolen quad bike in his garage

As part of Operation Heelfield, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a Section 26 Theft Act Warrant at an address in Illingworth.

Located within the garage of the address was a Yamaha Kodiak quad bike which had recently been stolen in a burglary. A number of other vehicles were seized from the garage to be examined by the Stolen Vehicle Unit.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation. Enquiries into the other vehicles are ongoing.
