Manchester man arrested over Montpellier Antiques raid

A Manchester man has been arrested and charged following the armed robbery at Montpellier Antiques in Harrogate on Monday, March 16.

The man was arrested in Manchester on Monday, March 30 and was charged with robbery and possessing an offensive weapon.

The 24-year-old is due to appear at Manchester City Court today.

Staff at Montpellier Antiques were threatened with a machete and an axe by four masked robbers during the raid before making off with high value jewellery.
