A fundraising walk in Halifax for Alzheimer’s UK has raised more than £700 for the charity.

Members of the Inner Wheel Club from Halifax, Elland and Brighouse took part in the ‘memory walk’ raising funds for Alzheimer’s UK.

The walk took in parts of the Hebble Trail, Cow Lane and the ‘14 corners’ footpath, and was enjoyed by all.

Refreshments at the end of the walk were generously provided by club president Christine Hodgson with the proceeds added to the sponsorship.

The total raised is expected to be more than £700.
