Passing nurse treats driver following Burnt Yates collision
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 6.38pm on Wednesday (May 27) after reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision.
The man’s car was left on its roof following the incident which took place near the toll bridge at Burnt Yates, near Summer Bridge.

Hide AdHowever, when crews arrived at 6.48pm, the male driver was already being treated by a passing nurse who was administering first aid.
The male driver was taken to hospital with injuries to his right arm as crews made the vehicle safe before leaving at 7.51pm.
