Rush-hour commuters using the A629 were faced with extra delays this morning because of temporary traffic lights in Halifax.
The lights on Salterhebble Hill mean traffic has been reduced to a single lane.
One driver said it took him 45 mins to get from Elland Bridge to the lights at Salterhebble.
