Congratulations to everyone at Halifax Town for winning promotion you did us proud. It’s got to be the dullest trophy presentation in the world ever though.

Hide AdIt was a day for our experienced players to excel, and they didn’t let us down. Although Jordan Sinnott created both goals, today’s award goes to Scott Garner for defending as though his life depended on it. He also scored the winning goal, of course!
Moment of the match
The first goal, which allowed Kev Roberts to banish the ghosts of Macclesfield from last year. He hit the post that time, but twelve months on he slots the ball through the goalie’s legs to send us all into delirium.
Moan of the match
The over-the-top antics of a small section of the crowd threatened to undermine things, but we shouldn’t allow it to detract from what was a very special day for our Football Club from start to finish. Well done to the board, management, players and everyone in the record crowd. Roll on next season!

I’m a huge fan of Kosylo but whether the occasion got to him or in was one match too much, he looked a shadow of his best and wasted several great chances.
