Stage Door opens into magical Narnia
The children’s voluntary group brings together youngsters from five to 17 and its version of this timeless classic - which features a score of lyrical songs, perfect for all the family - goes out from Thursday, October 15 until Saturday, October 17 this year. Performance times are at 7.15pm with a Matinee on Saturday at 2.15pm.
It is presented by Anne Redfern and Janet Fletcher.
The story begins when the Pevensie children – Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - are sent to live in the country with the eccentric Professor Kirke during World War II.

Hide AdThe children explore the house on a rainy day and Lucy, the youngest, finds an enormous wardrobe. Lucy steps inside and finds herself in a strange, snowy wood and then encounters the Faun Tumnus, who tells her that she has entered Narnia, a different world, but later bursts into tears and confesses that he is a servant of the evil White Witch.
