Brighouse BID launch Golden Ticket competition to encourage the community to shop local
The Golden Ticket promotion, which is now live, offers those who shop local the chance to win one of a number of prizes over the coming weeks.
A promotion designed to bring some festive cheer and support businesses facing lockdown 2.0, the BID is hoping to widely communicate the message about buying local in the run up to Christmas, while helping local businesses drive sales and remain stable following a successful footfall period over the summer months.

Lesley Adams, Co-Chair of the Brighouse BID steering group, said: “The shop local message is so important, with local independent retailers needing the support of its local community now, more than ever. Brighouse has a diverse, wide ranging high street with everything shoppers could need all in one compact town, and with many businesses also offering home delivery, we’re well placed to make it easy for our community to shop.

With every purchase, shoppers have the chance to receive a fantastic prize, purely for showing their support to a local business. There has never been a better time to shop local.”

While many businesses have had to change the way they work, most of them remain open and are offering click and collect or delivery options to help support their customers, especially in the run up to Christmas.
