Craggs Energy Group expands to the south west with acquisition of Moorland Fuels

Founded 15 years ago, Heating Oil and Red Diesel distributor Moorland Fuels operates seven tankers from their base in Okehampton. With a fantastic reputation for customer service the acquisition by the Craggs Energy Group will ensure that they will benefit from a shared vision, growth and further investment.

As the third acquisition in less than two years for the Craggs Energy Group who are actively seeking further opportunities across the UK, Chris Bingham, CEO of the group comments:

The Craggs Energy Group celebrate their tenth anniversary this year. From humble beginnings in 2011 with just three staff members, one tanker and one emergency 4x4 Land Rover the group has expanded to now employ over eighty people and operate a fleet of nearly forty vehicles.

The Craggs Group consists of a variety of businesses in the fuel oil sector which are based across the UK and now include two fuel distribution companies, an environmental risk mitigation business, a fuel card provider and a fuel and lubricant brokerage business.
