Virgin Media investment connects 2,500 homes Calderdale village to ultrafast broadband
As part of its ‘Project Lightning’ network expansion programme, Virgin Media is expanding its ultrafast broadband network across the UK, bringing average top speeds of more than 600Mbps to residents and small businesses.
Shelf is the latest area to benefit from Virgin Media’s investment and local residents are set to benefit from Gig1 broadband offering speeds of more than 1,000Mbps as the firm rolls out next-generation gigabit connections to its entire network of 15 million homes by the end of 2021.
