Children entertainers Cutie Pies and Cheeky Chaps will be on hand to keep the youngsters busy.

There will also be performances by pupils of the Footsteps Theatre School and the first 80 children aged ten and under to arrive will recieve a free party bag.

A variety of stalls will also feature at the event on Spout House Lane from 2pm along with face painting, barbecue, bouncy castle and teddy tombola.

The Faye Knowles Chapman Foundation is raising awareness about cervical cancer and is campaigning for the minimum age for screening to be lowered.

Faye was just 27 when she died earlier in 2013. She was 24 when diagnosed and women have to be aged 25 for NHS screening.

A race night will follow the day activities and will start around 7pm. Horses are available to buy for £3 at the bar in The Old Pond.
