Body of a man who died from a shotgun injury found in Southowram

Officers were called to the property at about half past seven this morning to find the man with a shotgun wound.

Detective Inspector Craig Lord of Calderdale CID said: “We were called to a farm in Southowram where we found the body of a 58-year-old male.

“Inquiries are still in the early stages but he died as a result of a shotgun injury.”

He said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
