Alcohol seized from anti-social youths in Halifax crackdown
Officers from the Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team have continued their patrols in Halifax to tackle youths and their anti-social behaviour .
Members of the team were in Ovenden this weekend but are still having problems with large groups of youths the majority of whom do seem to live locally in the areas where problems are being caused.
The police team said: “We are asking all parents to ensure that they know where their children are and what they are up to so they don’t get a surprise visit from our officers.
“We will be doing the same again this coming weekend along with our partners from the Ovenden Mixenden Initiative who are looking at providing positive opportunities for young people in those areas.”
