Deer killed by dogs during attack near Ogden Water Reservoir

Police officers are appealing for information after a deer was attacked and killed by two dogs at a Calderdale beauty spot.

The wild animal was found with the fatal injuries near to Ogden Water Reservoir on Sunday October 4 at around 3.15pm.

West Yorkshire Police - Wildlife & Rural Crime unit said: "The dogs were described as a cream coloured Greyhound type dog and a large black dog, both wearing thick leather collars.

"No persons were seen with or near the dogs."
