Police believe body found in Liverpool is that of missing West Yorkshire student
A body found in Liverpool last week is believed to be that of missing West Yorkshire student Aamir Qudeer, police have said.
Mr Aamir, 21, of Leeds, was last seen in Liverpool on February 26, after he had been reported missing from Bradford.
Emergency services recovered the body from the River Mersey, after it was seen by a member of the public by Grassendale Promenade at about 9am on Sunday.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned while enquiries continue into his disappearance.
