Speed checks get results in Todmorden
Nine motorists have been issued with penalty points after police carried out speed checks in Todmorden.
In total over 50 motorists have had action taken against them following the two weeks of checks on Burnley Road in Portsmouth, Burnley Road in Lydgate, Rochdale Road in Walsden and Halifax Road in Todmorden.
PC Ryan Stockton said: “Officers have been conducting these checks at a range of times from 7.30am to 11pm and will continue to do so to make the roads safer.”
The checks will continue.
