Third man arrested in connection with Hebden Bridge raid

Police have arrested a third person in connection with the armed raid at a Hebden Bridge jewellers.

The incident happened at 11.30am on Thursday, May 16, when two men armed with a sledgehammer raided Riverstones in Crown Street, escaping with four rings of high value.

The 61-year-old man believed to be from the Lancashire area has been released on police bail.

Last month police arrested two others, aged 24 and 33 in relation to the robbery. They are also on police bail.
