The victim had serious multiple injuries and was transported to Leeds General Infirmary by road ambulance.

The site, has been owned by Crosslee PLC for more than 40 years, and once had over 600 workers.

Production ceased in 2019 because of increasing competition from white goods factories in Asia and an order to demolish the warehouses and offices was granted by Calderdale Council in May.

Crosslee intend to develop the site for housing and employment land.

The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
