Ladies celebrate 60th handover

Brighouse Ladies Circle celebrated their 60th Handover at The Sun Inn, Lightcliffe, where the job of Chair was handed over from Nicky Fox to Emily Booth and Lisa Bennett became Vice Chair.

Before the handover, Nicky welcomed Susan Marsden, Partnerships Fundraiser from Hollybank Trust, Mirfield, before presenting a cheque for £2,300 which was raised by Brighouse Ladies Circle over the past 12 months.

The money was raised by taking part in Hollybanks It’s a Knock Out event, raising money at a stall at Brighouse Gala, the Santa Float around Brighouse and various other activities.

Nicky said “It’s been great getting to know Claire and Anna and we’re sure they will love making new friends, helping to raise money for charity and having some fun along the way!”

New Chair Emily Booth has chosen Overgate Hospice to support in the next 12 months.
