A man was taken to hospital after a car and a lorry crashed in Brighouse earlier today.

Firefighters from Rastrick and Odsal stations and the technical rescue unit the accident on Huddersfield Road at 8.12am.

One man who was trapped in the car was freed by firefighters and taken to hospital in an ambulance.
