Parent thinks Calderdale school's green pen rule is not fair on pupils
This was my first thought when I read your report because my son inherited the common red/green blindness which dramatically affected his early learning years and confidence.
Just one early example was an exam question asking pupils to colour a picture of a cow in brown.

Hide AdRed and brown have the same colour density so my son coloured the cow in red and was marked down and ridiculed by his form teacher...despite me previously informing that same teacher of his colour difficulties.
Perhaps this latest school’s requirement is even a form of discrimination against their colour-blind pupils?!
