Hard working staff at hospice are given a day of pampering

Gary and his team very kindly expressed a wish to thank the team at Overgate for all that they do for the Calderdale community.

Staff at Overgate were invited to add their names to a hat should they wish to receive the treat and each month three names are selected at random.

The staff at Edward and Co then collect the lucky winners from the hospice and take them for an afternoon of pampering.

This includes a hair makeover, flowers and a goodie bag of products to take home.

Overgate’s third party fundraiser Laura Whitham was one of the lucky ones and thoroughly enjoyed her afternoon treat.

“The entire team were lovely and they made both my colleagues and I feel really special. I will definitely be visiting them again,” she said.

The final few received their treat in October and the entire Overgate team would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at Edward and Co for the kindness they have shown.
