Iran protests: Here is how you can show your support for more freedom for people of Iran in Halifax this weekend

A rally supporting more freedom for the people of Iran is taking place in Halifax town centre this weekend.

Supporters are meeting at the corner of Market Street at Woolshops at 2pm on Saturday (October 22).

The rally is being organised by some members of St Augustine’s Centre who themselves have fled Iran because of persecution.

St Augustine’s Centre is a charity in Halifax which specialises in support for people forced to flee their homes, through no fault of their own.
