Lorraine Rodda, 64, decided to not only raise funds for Cancer Research UK, but also to help out her self-isolating neighbours by taking their dog Finn, a three year old lurcher, with her.

Lorraine, a member of Cancer Research UK’s fundraising committee, Todmorden, for six years, decided to run 2.6 miles on 10 consecutive days. A previous competitor in the London Marathon, this was her way of completing it this year and exercising Finn at the same time.

Lorraine says she is very thankful for such generosity and support in these difficult times.
