Care jobs to be created in the Lower Valley area

Working in partnership with local councils, it will be the sole provider to all social services funded within the Lower Valley.

Currently delivering services to more than 100 residents in Huddersfield, the care provider is now actively recruiting in Brighouse, Elland, Hipperholme, Northowram, Rastrick and Shelf.

Fiona Bankes, registered manager, said: “Setting up a new service is always demanding and comes with many challenges. Finding the right staff is of course immensely important.

“This transitional period is a great time to join us, to be part of this exciting new venture from the start, working with us to ensure that every service user receives the same excellent standard of care as all our existing service users enjoy.

“Due to the expansion of our services we will create employment for at least 75 local people and are expecting to create another 40 jobs in the next six months.

“We are looking for passionate, caring individuals to provide high quality care to people in their own homes. We welcome applications from those with experience or those wanting to begin a career in social care.”

New members of staff will receive a full induction, paid training and the opportunity to complete a diploma in health and social care.
