Pop Up Art Gallery opens at Todmorden for Tour De France
In time for the Tour De France, a Pop Up Art Gallery has been opened at Todmorden market, Brook Street, as a showcase for local artists.
The gallery uses a vacant stall space in the Market Hall and eight local artists have some work on display there.
One of them, who is also a market trader, Christine Nichol, said Calderdale Council’s markets team have helped them make it possible, an extra attraction for people to look at while in the town this weekend and, she hoped, for a number of weeks to come.
