Talks move ahead for Brighouse blueprint
Positive talks have begun for Brighouse to develop a neighbourhood development plan.
A meeting was held at the Holiday Inn, Brighouse, between Councillors, business leaders and Calder Valley MP Craig Whittaker to discuss the plans which would set out the future of the town
Mr Whittaker said: “The meeting was a tremendous success. I was delighted by the response from local businesses many of whom were very interested in the idea of a business-led development plan for the Town Centre and the opportunities that this could bring to further enhance Brighouse.
“I understand that a number of local traders and businesses are now working together to see how this project can be taken forward and I look forward to assisting them in any way that I can.”
