VIDEO: Mytholmroyd Christmas lights switch on

Christmas lights were shining in Mytholmroyd last night (Friday), as people lined the streets to see the annual switch on.

The Mayor of Hebden Royd, coun Jonathan Timbers was joined by Mytholmroyd Gala Queen Elsa Wilson to push that magical button and bring the festive cheer to the town.

The switch on was held in St Michael’s Square and entertainment included the likes of the Hebden Bridge Junior Band, local schools and dance group the Magpie Movers.
