SBCI host Jer Lane in last four

The last two winners of the Halifax Parish Cup, SBCI and Jer Lane, will meet in this year’s semi-final.

The pair will clash on Sunday, July 13 with Warley hosting Copley in the other game.

Although SBCI have ground advantage they will be underdogs against last year’s double winners Jer Lane, who saw off the threat from a useful Thornton side on Sunday.

SBCI had a useful win at Southowram in the quarter finals but they play in the middle section of the Foster’s Halifax League, having followed their 2012 league and cup double by being relegated from the Premier last summer.

Warley have hit top form and will be keen to dash Copley’s hopes of appearing in the final on the own ground on Sunday, August 3.

Jer Lane and Warley are also in the semi-finals of the Crossley Shield competition for second teams.

Jer Lane will host Mytholmroyd and Warley travel to Wibsey Park Chapel’s ex-county ground at Bradford Park Avenue.
