Telford 1-2 Halifax: Fans Panel verdict
Andrew Mann
Man of the match
Cliff Moyo. Did well coming back into the side after this three game ban. Solid performance at full back and did well going forward.
Moan of the match
Telford attempt a short corner routine then score from the exact same routine not long after. Have to be more alert defensively.

Josh McDonald gets my man of the match this week, he put some cracking crosses into the box and never stopped running down the wing. Hope the rumours about higher league clubs trying to tempt him away aren’t true.
Moan of the match
Not certain exactly how many yellow cards there were but only two were deserved. Between a card happy referee and a linesman who guessed whether someone was offside (because he couldn’t keep up with play) the afternoon was slightly spoiled.
Highlight of the match
Peniket’s goal was a screamer. He is finding his confidence which showed in the way placed that ball right on the top corner.

Hide AdJosh Macdonald. Getting better every game. Gave the Telford left back a difficult afternoon. Seemed to put a good ball into the box every time.
Moan of the match
A slow start before conceding another goal too easily. Richard Peniket’s cracking goal deserved to be more than just an equaliser.
Highlight of the match
The referee not blowing for a free kick for Halifax for a late challenge on Kevin Roberts in the build up to the winning goal. The ref seemed whistle happy all day but great judgement to let the game go when it mattered. Unless he didn’t see it if course!
