West End golf event called off
Today’s third Halifax-Huddersfield Alliance fixture of the winter season at West End was cancelled due to fog.
The first players in a field of around 120 were due out at 8am but visibility at the lofty Norton Tower course was very poor and officials took the decision to abandon at 10.30.
The next Alliance is at Ogden on Tuesday, November 10.
