On February 26, 2012, Halifax hosted Rovers in a high quality Northern Rail Cup group match and Ben Heaton's second try of the game in the closing stages put Fax 32-28 up and on the brink of victory.
But Rovers weren't finished and an injury-time Greg Worthington touchdown levelled the scores before current Halifax assistant coach Liam Finn stepped-up to land the conversion that sealed Rovers' dramatic 34-32 win.
