What's On: Who is playing at The Piece Hall next summer? Here is when names will start to be revealed

The historic venue and promoters Cuffe and Taylor are expected to start releasing the line-up for Live at The Piece Hall 2023 on Monday morning.

This summer saw some incredible stars perform, including Tom Jones, Duran Duran, Paul Weller, Nile Rodgers and CHIC, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Cuffe and Taylor - the promoters who brought Britney Spears, Lewis Capaldi, Duran Duran and Kylie to Scarborough - have agreed a five-year deal to co-promote shows with The Piece Hall Trust.

They and The Piece Hall have said the agreement will mean more huge names will be coming to perform in Halifax.

Meantime, The Piece Hall is gearing up for the start of its spectacular Christmas season, which will include shows from Spandu Ballet’s Martin Kemp, Radio 2 presented DJ Spooney and the welcome return of an ice-rink.

A carousel has already arrived in the courtyard and the first of two winter makers markets takes place next week, from Friday, November 11 to Sunday, November 13.
